Description
The Boker Plus USAF Survival knife is a re-make of the old standard issue knife from the late 1940's. Back then, General Curtis LeMay authorized the creation of a knife that was effective for survival--including field dressing and cleaning fish. Initially, the Air Force considered the Randall Model 14 but deemed it to heavy and thus this knife was born. The Boker Plus line of knives are designed in cooperation with knife experts worldwide and provide innovative knife concepts for every task. This model features a thinly leather-wrapped handle complete with brass spacers and aluminum pommel, a drop point style blade in a mirror polish finish and the brown leather sheath allows for a belt carry option.
