The massive Voyager folder family from Cold Steel is ounce for ounce far stronger than 99.9% of their competition in the folding knives arena. The Voyager features Cold Steel's patented Tri-Ad® back lock mechanism which uses a new stop pin to redistribute the load of both positive and negative pressures on the lock. With safety at the forefront, this lock was designed by Andrew Demko and has been tested to hold up to 800 pounds of hanging weights. This large model features a black polymer Griv-Ex™ handle, a tanto style blade in a stonewash finish and the reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
