The Tighe Breaker is one of many new models released by CRKT this year. Designed by Canadian knifemaker Brian Tighe, this fixed blade was modeled after his successful Tighe Breaker folder--this time consisting of a full-bellied blade which is ideal for both cutting and slicing. Each model features an impressively comfortable handle design complete with dedicated finger grooves in addition to a positive thumb ramp for superior blade control. The addition to the paracord is a nice feature whether you use it to bulk up the handle scale or just the added convenience of its existence in the wilderness. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model, the 1110, features a blackened stonewash skeletonized stainless steel handle complete with an olive drab green paracord-wrapped interior, a drop point style blade in a blackened stonewash finish and a black GRN (Glass Reinforced Nylon) sheath which offers an enclosed belt loop for multiple carry options.
