You open it by pushing the trigger up and then close it by pulling the trigger down. The handle is tan anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inlay. Dual Edge blade with a DLC black finish; one edge fully serrated on standard. All black tactical hardware. The blade triggers fast. Made in the USA
