The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The literal translation in Greek is "wounding tooth" which represents the sharp and serrated nature of the Troodon's dental structure. This dual action powerhouse, which was Microtech's flagship out the front knife in 2006, boasts a sleek and slender contoured handle that is as ergonomic as it is functional. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability. This model, the 139-7, features a black handle complete with standard hardware and an integrated glass breaker function along with a drop point blade in a bead blast finish. Made in the USA.
