Recently acquired from the annual USN GX Knife Show in Las Vegas comes an array of show-specific knives including the customer favorite and Emerson collaboration auto--the CQC-7. The Pro-Tech CQC-7 series of automatic knives is the first collaboration done with tactical knife icon Ernest Emerson. Since 1979, Emerson has been building some of the most popular tactical knives on the market so it comes to no surprise that these knives offer the same exacting standards that Emerson, and Pro-Tech for that matter, has always demanded. This side open auto model opens with incredible speed and showcases a rock-solid lockup and the design of the handle has been built to the original specifications of the Emerson CQC-7 folder knife. This limited model features two sandwiched custom G-10 front handle scales in a black over lime green finish--sporting the GX logo, a black anodized rear aluminum handle scale, a spear point style blade in a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black finish and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
