The Spyderco Lil' Sub-Hilt folder knife is one of many new folders released by Spyderco this year. Designed by renowned custom knifemaker Butch Vallotton, this beautifully handcrafted knife is a smaller version of his original Sub-Hilt folder--utilizing the same style and sophistication that resulted in such a positive response from the knife community. The Lil' Sub-Hilt utilizes a liner lock mechanism and the premium stainless steel blade features a hollow ground main bevel in conjunction with a contrasting flat ground tip. This knife is part of Spyderco's Specialty Folder family which includes collaborations with some of the world's most reputable knifemakers and showcases dedicated personal defense tools coupled with numerous "outside-the-box" designs that adds scores of value. This model, the C224GP, features a black polished G-10 handle and inlay, stainless steel bolsters and liners, a drop point style blade in a satin finish, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and a fully ambidextrous 4-way pocket clip which allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
