With a design developed by custom knifemaker and outdoorsman Phil Wilson, the Spyderco Sprig is a versatile utility knife made to process fish and small game. Based on Wilson's own bird-and-trout design, the Sprig's blade is ground from premium CPM S90V particle-metallurgy stainless steel, with a generous amount of vanadium, which encourages the formation of vanadium carbides within the steel for increased wear resistance. For strength and even balance, the Sprig has a full tang with contoured forest green G10 handle scales. Wilson's signature guard allows for sure grip and helps prevent the user's hand from sliding forward. For convenience and security, the Sprig comes with a Boltaron sheath with adjustable G-Clip.
