Similar to Hatachi's HAP40 alloy composition, each model boasts a new Crucible® CPM-REX 45 super high-speed particle metallurgy tool steel enriched with extra cobalt, tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium for improved high abrasion resistance and toughness. This knife is part of Spyderco's exclusive Sprint Run family which offers limited-edition production runs of knives not found in their normal production models. These knives are highly sought after because once they run out, they will never be made again in the same variation. This model features burnt orange G-10 handle scales, a clip point style blade in a satin finish, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip down carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
