The Spyderco Stretch 2 is the result of a long evolution that began back in 1983 with the original Spyderco C03 Hunter model. Refined ergonomics reduce fatigue during long periods of use and the deeper index finger choil allows for a better choked up grip and the slightly elongated handle promotes increased leverage. This knife is part of Spyderco's exclusive Sprint Run family which offers limited-edition production runs of knives not found in their normal production models. These knives are highly sought after because once they run out, they will never be made again in the same variation. More specifically, this model is 1 of 6 that will feature the extremely exotic V-Toku2 tool steel that is sandwiched in between layers of SUS310 stainless steel--further adding to its value and increased exclusivity. This model, the C90FPBLE2, features a bluish grey lightweight FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle, stainless steel liners, a drop point style blade in a satin finish, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and a fully ambidextrous 4-way positional pocket clip that allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
