The Spyderco UpTern is an exceptional knife that combines convenience, performance, and unmistakable Spyderco style. Inspired by the byrd Tern, this non-locking folding knife takes the stylish lines and synergy while calling back to some of Spyderco's own classic designs for a best-of-both-worlds knife. The UpTern boasts a blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which provides corrosion resistance and is easy to maintain. This partially serrated blade is paired with a handle made of tough stainless steel, with a textured forefinger choil and thumb ramp for a solid grip despite the small size. The sturdy back lock mechanism ensures that although the blade is not locked mechanically, it is held more securely than a slipjoint. This symmetrical knife can be operated completely ambidextrously with a fully accessible Spyderco's signature Trademark Round Hole for ease of opening with either hand.
