Bear & Son Cutlery prides itself on providing excellent quality and real value to all of its customers and their butterfly knives are certainly no exception. The skelentonized nature of the handles help reduce the overall weight and the pin construction eliminates the need for adjusting which makes this an ideal entry-level model. This larger model features zinc handles that are epoxy powder coated in a black and grey speckled "silver vein" finish, a satin finished clip point style blade and this model does not have a pocket clip. Made in the USA.

This butterfly knife has very nice action. The handles, as you can see from the picture, have oval holes cut in them. Sometimes referred to as skeletonized handles, these give the user good gripping points and make the knife just a little bit lighter. The latch clasp holds the blade in the closed position nice and tight. The silver color is a good neutral color and the blade seems to have good action. Overall, this butterfly knife is well worth the price. I would recommend it as a second butterfly as opposed to a starter butterfly.
