The Benchmade designed H&K Entourage side open automatic knife offers a simplistic design coupled with top-notch performance. The entire H&K line of knives are all manufactured by Benchmade and carry their limited lifetime warranty and are eligible for all Benchmade services. The enlarged push button offers ease of use and you will also find an integrated slide safety located on the spine of the handle in close proximity to the firing button. This model, the 14701BK, offers a tanto style 440C stainless steel blade in a black finish. The pocket clip on this series of H&K Entourage knives is designed for tip up carry only. Made in the USA.

Benchmade H&K Entourage Automatic Knife
The Benchmade designed H&K 14701BK Entourage Automatic knife is a hard hitting automatic with an enlarged push button trigger and an integrated safety. Part of the H&K Class knives at Benchmade, this is a very good quality automatic knife at an unbelievable price. With a flat grind tanto blade, the Entourage is built for heavy use in the real world.
BLADE
The 3.74 blade on the Entourage features a standard edge with a black tactical coat (on this particular model). The 440C stainless steel blade boasts a Rockwell Hardness of 58-60, which puts it at about the same RH as 154CM. It will take an extremely sharp edge and stay that way for a reasonable length of time. This tanto blade is big enough to get serious work done.
HANDLE
The handle on the Entourage is built from 6061 T6 black anodized aluminum. With a closed length of 4.70, the Entourage gives you a solid grip. There is a big, deep finger choil and lots of jimping on the spine and choil so you arent going to lose your grip regardless of the environment you are working in. The handle has a couple of long grooves lengthwise down the handle to help wick water away in inclement working conditions.
OVERALL IMPRESSION
SAFETY AND FIRE BUTTON
The fire button stands proud near the very top right side of the handle. It is slightly oversized for easy access. When you push the button, the blade snaps out quickly like you would expect from a Benchmade.

Somewhat reminiscent of the AFO, the Entourage offers you the entire package at an extremely attractive price. Coming in at just over $100.00the Entourage is an amazing value. This is a real deal combat knife that doubles as a great utility knife wherever you may find yourselfif you are expecting lots of heavy work, do yourself a favor and get the Entourage.
