The Fact is a completely new design for Benchmade this year--proving once again that a tactically designed folder doesn't necessarily need to be overbuilt to be effective. As a matter of "fact" a knife with a sub-4" blade that weighs less than 3.5 oz. may cause you to forget its even present in your pocket. Offered up with 2 different blade finishes, each Fact folder knife utilizes Benchmade's AXIS® lock mechanism which is a fully ambidextrous operating system utilizing a dual thumb stud design to deploy a premium CPM-S30V stainless steel blade and the vertical milling pattern translates to increased traction control. This Black Class model, the 417, features a semi-skeletonized black aluminum handle, stainless steel liners, a spear point style blade in a satin finish and the reversible deep carry pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option. Made in the USA.
