The TSR (Terzuola Survival Rescue) fixed blade knife is one of many new fixed blade models released by CRKT this year. Designed by American knifemaker Bob Terzuola, each appropriately designed survival fixed blade features an impressive arsenal of accessories found in both the handle and on the sheath. For starters, the handle scales are removable--producing fishing line, fishing hooks and dental floss that is included. Secondly, the small hole bored into the base of the blade provides an option for the knife to be transition to a spear. Lastly, the sheath comes with extra paracord for wrapping, a reflective signaling plate, a ceramic sharpening edge on one side and a magnesium edge on the other for fire starting assistance. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model, the 2061, features a black GRN (Glass Reinforced Nylon) handle, a modified drop point style blade in a satin finish and the black injection molded GRN (Glass Reinforced Nylon) sheath comes complete with multiple lanyard holds in addition to an adjustable clip plate system for a variety of carry options.
