The Batum is one of many new models released by CRKT this year and is offered in 2 different sizes. Designed by Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes, this beast-of-a folder sports impressive ergonomics paired with classic styling to ensure it is built for the long haul. Voxnaes, who has designed numerous knives for CRKT in addition for many of the other elite manufacturers, brings us another frame lock design that provides a convenient finger choil and finger groove for precise cutting tasks as well as a thumb slot for manual blade deployment. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This larger model, the 5453, features a G-10 front handle scale, a stainless steel back handle scale, a drop point style blade in a satin finish and the pocket clip is designed for the traditional side of the handle only but it is eligible for a tip up or a tip down carry option.
