Each frame lock designed model features the Carson Flipper that not only deploys the blade but doubles as a blade guard in the open position. Additionally this knife features CRKT's automated liner safety which is a next-generation locking mechanism that sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame--virtually turning this folder into a fixed blade.This larger model, the M16-03KS, features a black oxide coated stainless steel handle, stainless steel liners, a spear point style blade in a black finish and the fully reversible 4-way pocket clip is designed for both tip up and tip down carry on either side of the handle.
