The Deadline is when of many new flipper/folders released by Kershaw this year. Designed by American knifemaker Matt Diskin, this flipper highlights a contemporary package that is distinct as it is functional. Each model features a frame lock design and the stainless steel blade is deployed with the ambidextrous spine flipper function while the KVT ball-bearing manual opening system allows for quick fluid action even without the use of any springs. Furthermore, this knife features a new TDS (Tuned Detent System) so the detent will never be too difficult to operate and the textured backspacer and finger groove sections help support an aggressive hold. This model, the 1087, features a two-toned silver and dark grey stainless steel handle, a modified wharncliffe style blade in a two-toned dark grey finish with satin highlights finish and the reversible deep carry pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
