The Wolverine automatic knife has a part serrated wharncliffe blade made of 440 stainless steel. This knife has an extremely comfortable handle with a nice contour shape for your forefinger. The handle also has two indents on the handle that are angled back. These are to allow your fingers to rest in the indented area. The button is inset slightly into handle--this is instead of a safety. The Wolverine has incredibly fast action. The button triggers the blade which locks up very solid. The blade is extremely sharp right out of the box. This knife is made in Taiwan.

The Wolverine automatic knife is one of those treasures that you only happen onto every once in a while. At a relatively inexpensive price, the action on this knife is fast. You push the button and the blade really comes out quickly. There is no play on this knife. The handle and the blade are both very well made of top quality materials. I actually think the Wharncliffe shape of this blade is great looking. The handle on this auto knife feels good in your hand and has enough texture so you can get a good solid grip on it.
