Zero Tolerance is known for pushing the envelope when it comes to the visual appeal of their knives and the new 0055 flipper knife is without a doubt no exception. After teaming up with custom knifemaker Gus T. Cecchini of GTC Knives, the 0055 boasts clean but dramatic lines across the entire body of the handle as well as boasting a multi-bevel grind. Each knife features an ultra-premium stainless steel blade and operates with the KVT ball-bearing manual opening system which allows for quick fluid action even without the use of any springs as well as showcases a frame lock design coupled with a steel lockbar insert. What makes this knife so unique, beyond its aesthetic appeal, is the SLT spring-loaded flipper tab function--a two-stage operating system that uses a spring to flip a tab up into the ready position followed by a traditional pullback motion on the tab for immediate deployment. Additionally noted is the fact that the SLT tab is hidden while in the open position to not detract from the elegance of this knife. This model features a titanium back handle scale, a modified reverse tanto style blade in a stonewash finish and the reversible titanium pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option. Made in the USA.
