Each Torrent spring assist knife utilizes Benchmade's Nitrous® Assist mechanism which is a titanium bar integrated into the liners for long term reliable performance and swift action. This particular model has been given a radical overhaul--sporting eye-popping color contrasts in additional to blacked out hardware for a one-of-a-kind look. This Blue Class model, the 890-1701, features a blue G-10 handle, purple titanium liners, a drop point style blade in a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black finish and the deep carry pocket clip is designed for tip down carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
