The Boker Kalashnikov line is a classic. This knife has a black aluminum handle with a very nice grip and shape to it. It has ridges along the length of the handle to separate your fingers, almost like a molded grip. The handle also is textured--all of this provides superior gripping power for your hand. The AUS8 stainless steel blade is sharp and stays that way. It is a medium length blade at 3.25". I carried one of these Kalashnikov knives for several months as my EDC and cannot say enough about how versatile and flexible this knife is. I used it for a wide variety of cutting purposes and was never disappointed. The Kalashnikov is an automatic conversion knife. This means the spring has been added to the knife after market. This voids the warranty but I bet that is never an issue. This well made auto knife is made of superior materials. It even comes in a great box shaped like a Kalashnikov ammo clip (banana clip). The details on the knife are great. The screws have a Soviet star on them. This knife is a must for EDC, or get two, one to carry and one for your collection.
