BladeOps is excited to announce the newest exclusive model to the ever-growing arsenal of Boker Kalashnikov auto knives--the Kalashnikov with a high-performance D2 blade. This exclusive model features a black aluminum handle, standard bead blasted hardware, a drop point style blade in a bead blast finish and the extra-long deep carry pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.

The Boker Kalashnikov automatic knife is one of the most popular side open automatics on the market today considering the price point. This knife, as well as the rest of the Kalashnikov auto family, is referred to an auto-conversion knife which means the knife is produced as a folder knife and then converted via third party to offer the automatic function.
D2--an air-hardened tool steel that was developed to cut other steels. This American-made steel offers fantastic toughness and edge retention and is perfect for hard-use applications.

    I was verry excited about this tool in the first place do to its legendary reputation in the Auto knife scene. Then to find it in d2 sold. Did not disappoint apon arivel it came fast and it was evreything ive heard plus more. Only compliant i have is with usps not the knife or bladeops. But apon arivel i seen my package was ripped open (i know s***happens to big deal) BUT when i locked at my boker box the supper sweet ak mag box i had noticed it had also been opened do to the tape being cut that seals it and my knife was out of the bag inside. Like it was opened some one checked it out played wit it and put it idk lol least they didint steal it and the knife was flawless when i got it

    Love this knife! I've carried a bakelite orange spearpoint example for years and this knife feels the same, but better. The scales feel grippier but not tacky. The action is smooth as expected and the launch and lockup are Boker solid. I have great expectations for the D2 blade with respect to durability and holding an edge. I am very satisfied with this iteration of the Kalashnikov series.
