    Apparently I am 2 years late to the "Desert Warrior" party. I wanted a Kalashnikov in the Green and Tan finish but sadly they are sold out everywhere. And it does not look like they will be restocked. I bought this black-and-tan version and simply repeainted the handle scales. I disassembled the knife, airbrushed several coats of Humbrol #155 Olive Drab paint. Finished with several coats of Krylon Fusion flat clear spray. An enamel finish thats tough and durable. It was easy and fun to do. Wsh I could upload photos.

    I carried one for several years before losing it, but I had to replace it because it's so much better than any other knife I've ever tried. I ordered two, one for me and one for my best friend. The only problem is they didn't have a razor edge this time, but that's a pretty easy fix for me. I guess they have to cut corners to be able to put out the same product at the same price while everything else is going up, up, up! Shipping was about 5 days, but free.
