Boker Plus Copper Shamsher Automatic Knife

This is a great little auto. The unique lever mechanism feels and operates like a flipper. The brass scales are thick and solid, and they’ve already taken on a cool patina from the oils in my hand. The D2 blade came razor sharp, and it locks up tight and secure. There’s no danger of it accidentally closing. The only con that I can see is related to the opening mechanism. Only the first third of the opening is spring powered. If the opening is obstructed before it’s fully locked, it stays half opened until you manually lock it. This is not the case with the mechanisms used on the Boker Kalashnikov series. Overall though, this is the perfect small knife for my needs. Some users may find the weight a little too much for a knife this size, but I like how substantial it feels.
