Boker Plus USB OTF Auto Knife, Black Stonewash D2 Blade

My wife stuck this in the sidewall of a thiefs rear tire without failure last Xmas. Awesome knife.

This is a great keychain knife / fidget toy. It will open all the letters and taped packages you need when your other knives are not around. I tried carrying it in my 5th Jeans pocket then got afraid I would lose it so I put it on my keychain and it just fits better there. There is almost no grip whatsoever besides the button so you are forced to hold it in that position (wish there was a little gimping on top for thumb grip). Having it attached to a keychain helps with the grip. The action is VERY smooth and satisfying (on par with my full size $120 Boker OTF) with very little play (impressive) and the D2 blade was hair shaving sharp just like my other D2 Bokers. It fires and retracts so nicely I would be really surprised if there was any kind of misfire besides intentionally opening it into sheets of paper. The cobratec collaborations with boker seem to be very high quality to me and this little knife feels built like a tank. I would be very hesitant to intend to use this knife in any kind of self defense situation because there is so little grip and the blade is so small but hey its still a pointy little D2 blade and I don't want to get stuck with it... Overall I feel like this knife has a limited usability (letter opener, thread cutter, tape cutter, etc) and is a bit pricey ($39.99-$49.99 would be ideal, for just a little more money you can get larger, more usable boker OTF's) but the quality is there and its just plain cool. I don't think you will find a higher quality super small OTF for this price if small and discrete is what you are looking for. Only knocking 1 star because I think it is slightly overpriced for being so small and having limited use and I wish there was a little more gimping on top for grip so I don't have to hold it sideways. Otherwise this is a highly impressive little knife and is tons of fun to play with. If you don't care about the price, this is a 5 star knife for what it is.
