Description
The original Devil's Brigade started in July of 1942 as a joint special task force of American and Canadian soldiers to operate behind enemy lines. Each soldier carried the special V-42 combat knife for close combat situations. The compressed leather discs that form the handle end in a pointed impact cap. The double edge blade has a corrugated thumb rest for a secure grip. This special collector's item comes with a classic leather sheath, a replica of the cloth insignia of the unit and a reproduction a sticker with the German words, "The worst is yet to come!". These stickers were placed behind enemy lines to demoralize. Perfect for any avid WWII historian.
