The Meadowlark 2 family is actually a dollar-conscious clone of the ever-so-popular Spyderco Delica folder with an array of handle options and edge configurations. This model features a flat ground stainless steel blade and that offers great cutting performance while still providing ease of maintenance and strategic placed jimping for secure grip. The Cara Cara 2 utilizes a lock back mechanism--a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center while the blade is manually deployed with the help of Byrd's signature comet-shaped hole. This knife is part of Spyderco's Byrd family which offers all of the same functionality and convenience of Spyderco's production models but at a lower price point for the budget-conscious or those especially new to knives. This lightweight model features black FRN (Fiberglass-Reinforced Nylon) handle scales complete with Bi-Directional Texture™, a drop point style blade in a satin finish and the 4-way positional pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
