The Septimo is one of many new mid-year models released by CRKT this year and is one of several knives that are part of their Forged by War® series. Started in 2013 by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, this program teamed up with veterans with varying degrees of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) to offer a unique opportunity to help design knives and tools that they feel would have been beneficial to them as well as their battle buddies. Designed by Jeremy Valdez, a veteran who served with the 7th Special Forces Group, this flipper was meant to aid in quickly cutting rope and straps based upon his chaotic deployment experiences. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model, the 7050, features a black anodized aluminum handle complete with a black TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) inlay, stainless steel liners, a tanto style blade, with a single Veff Serration in a black finish and the reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
CRKT will donate 10% of the net profits of each Forged By War® product to the veteran designers charity of choice
