The Law Enforcement variation of the M16-13 Kit Carson designed knife is a response to all law enforcement professionals around the globe. Upgrades to this popular model include an added seat belt cutter built into the flipper, upgraded blade steel and a tungsten carbide window breaker at the base. Each liner lock designed model features the Carson Flipper that not only deploys the blade but doubles as a blade guard in the open position. Additionally this knife features CRKT's automated liner safety which is a next-generation locking mechanism that sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame--virtually turning this folder into a fixed blade. This model features black GFN (Glass-Filled Nylon) handle scales, all-black hardware and stainless steel liners, a partially serrated spear point style blade, complete with Triple Point™ serrations, in a black finish and the reversible pocket clip is designed for tip down carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
