The CRKT Kit Carson designed M16-14ZLEK uses the very successful InterFrame construction with tough textured glass filled nylon scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner and solid glass filled nylon back spacers. To make this knife perfect for those who serve, this knife sports a seat belt cutter on the Carson Flipper as well as a tungsten carbide window breaker at the butt. All the components on this knife receive a black tactical finish. This nearly indestructible frame gives you a solid grip. Add on the AUS 8 stainless steel combo edge tanto blade that can handle the most rugged cutting tasks and still be field sharpened, the M16-14ZLEK is one amazing knife. This knife sports the patented* AutoLAWKS™ safety, which automatically turns the folders into virtual fixed blades when the blade is opened and locked. It also carries two of the signature "Carson Flipper" extension to the blade, which aids opening and acts as a true hilt when the blade is opened.
