Designed by Allen Elishewitz, the EX-A01 is part of the Hogue Extreme Series knives which are designed to be durable yet simple and elegant for everyday carry. The matte OD Green finished 6061 T6 aluminum handle has a hardcoat type III finish. It has a 154-CM stainless steel black finished tanto blade with a plain edge. The oversized pivot, stop pin and button lock are heat treated stainless steel which give you solid lockup. A conveniently located slide safety makes for easy one hand use and the reversible extra large spoon pocket clip allows you to carry tip up or tip down. The EX-A01 is an over-engineered tool whose sole purpose is performance.
