The Hunter II Dual Action automatic knife can be opened manually or with the concealed release button. The Hunter is one of the best dual action value blades we carry. The release is almost invisible. The action is fast. The blade has ambidextrous buttons (you can open it manually from either side) and the liner lock is solid. The bayonet style blade is part serrated and comes very sharp. Made of 440 stainless steel, the blade has a great shape and feel to it. This Hunter has a red handle. The Hunter dual action auto knife is possibly the best dual action knife we have found. In this price range--it is definitely the best one we have ever found. The action button is well concealed. If you look really carefully, it is still difficult to see that the upper (the one closer to the top of the handle) is a trigger button. When you push the lower edge of the upper button, the blade fires out extremely fast. The linerlock actually works great. The blade locks in tight--but it isn't one of those liner locks that are then nearly impossible to open. When you are ready to shut the blade, the linerlock moves with the proper amount of pressure. The blade on the Hunter is nice and sharp. It does come partially serrated. Made of 440 stainless steel, the blade on this auto knife is a great shape. This particular model ahs a red handle. All around, the Hunter rates as our best dual action auto knife in the under $50.00 price range--hands down. And the great thing is, for $50.00, you can actually get two.
