Description

Get a dark tactical look with the Launch 6 automatic knife from Kershaw.

This slim and ever-so-slightly wicked-looking knife features premium CPM154 blade steel. This powdered metallurgy steel offers more uniform distribution of carbides so it takes and holds an excellent edge. It also provides good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness. Black DLC coating adds non-reflectivity and enhances performance.

Durable anodized aluminum handles lighten the Launch 6's weight and Kershaw machines them to provide a secure grip. This automatic knife opens with a recessed push button. We made the button level with the flat of the handle as a safety feature that makes it harder for the knives to accidentally deploy. Left-handers can use an index finger instead of the thumb to press the blade-release/lock button. The Launch 6 also has a reversible pocketclip and a pre-drilled lanyard tie-off hole.

Great knife. Great weight and balance. Wish it had a little bit snappier of an opening, but I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent quality as expected by a Kershaw product. This is a good sized knife, very robust and while it is not the fastest Kershaw Auto in my collection, it will now be my EDC. Very satisfied with my purchase. This is a good size knife, well made and very solid. I own many Kershaw autos and this is not the fastest one, but it is an excellent Kershaw auto and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I highly recommend Kershaw. I’m a user/consumer/collector. I use what I purchase. My first Kershaw was a gift in 2002. Carried & used it for many years without a hiccup. And they stand by their product. I have them put a factory edge on it every few years while I maintain & sharpen it in between visits to the factory. I recently purchased a Launch 6 as a backup/self-protection carry that stays in a horizontal holster on my belt. For my EDC pocket knife, I use a Kershaw Link CPM 20CV assist opening. My 20 year old Kershaw 1500 is going to my nephew when it gets back from the factory.
