With the overwhelming popularity and demand of the new Mini Natrix it was only a matter of time before we rode the wave for our newest exclusive--the BlackOut Mini Natrix flipper. The Kershaw Natrix is one of many new models released by Kershaw in 2017 and was designed after the popular Zero Tolerance 0770 model but 2018 brings forth a newly revised size. This sub-frame lock designed model, which aids it in being lightweight, features the KVT ball-bearing system, instead of Kershaw's patented SpeedSafe™ assisted system, which quickly deploys the blade thanks in part to the ambidextrous flipper function. This model features black G-10 handle scales, all-black hardware, a modified drop point style blade in a black oxide finish and the deep carry reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.

    I bought 6 of these little dudes as Groomsman gifts because the price was good and I like Kershaw. First impression was this knife is a lot smaller than I expected. Although it is a great design that accompanies a deep carry pocket clip (which I think is a must) and is sharp as a tack. Due to the size of this guy it is a bit difficult to flip open if you're just casually doing it; but with that said, I am glad it does NOT have the Speed Safe system (or whatever it's called) because when you get a handle on it the ball bearings pivot nice and smooth. If you're in the market for a Natrix I'd just get the bigger one. Personally I would keep this one in my car as a backup or just in my collection for cool-factor. Great deal for the price, though – I'm sure my Groomsman will love it. Thanks, BladeOps!

    I would like it better at $19.99....I bought it as a beater, don’t expect zt or USA kershaw quality...but it’s good for the price...overall I like it

    Really love this little knife, very small and compact. Weighs almost nothing to where I have to check to make sure it's still in my pocket. Not had any issues with it, action is fast and smooth. Only wished the blade steel was better, I had hoped this one had the se D2 that's on the copper Natrix and finished in black. Well I guess there maybe another version out there coming

    KVT system is super smooth. I have the bigger Natrix Carbon Fiber and I like it too, but this one is as light as my Atmos. Great little knife!
