The Kershaw Mini Skinner is a new addition to Kershaw's American Made Hunter series. The Mini Skinner features a two inch blade that is perfect for small game. The textured G10 scales on the handle ensure you have a good, solid grip on the knife at all times. Comes with a leather belt sheath and is drilled for a lanyard. Kershaw Mini Skinner Knife
One of Kershaw's American Made Hunter series knives, the Mini Skinner 1081 features textured G10 handle scales and a nice drop point blade.
BLADE
The 2 Sandvik 14C28N blade on the Mini Skinner has a stonewash finish. The blade is big enough to get the job done. Especially perfect for small game, the Mini Skinner could handle a big job but it might not be the best tool for that type of job. The full tang blade is great for outdoor utility work.
HANDLE
The handle scales sandwich the full tang. Black G-10, the scales feature a tight, small texture pattern that gives you an excellent grip on the knife. There is a large finger groove in the handle right near where the blade starts that gives you total control when you grip up on the Mini Skinner for fine work. I have average size hands and the handle doesn't fill my hand. The build and shape of the handle make for a comfortable transition so you don't have any edges or corners cutting into your hand when you grip the knife extra firm.

This is a great utility skinner knife that is perfect when you go on long trips and want to keep weight to a minimum. It also works great as a back up skinner knife or as a utility knife for around camp. Especially built for small game, it is a great call for the hunter and trapper who frequently works with small animals and doesn't want to carry a large knife.
