A Signature Series model, this Microtech Shadow Combat Troodon features a natural Jade green G10 upper handle scale for a truly unique look and feel. The lower handle is anodized black aluminum.
Boasting extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms, this knife opens and closes reliably and smooth with the slide trigger.
The Hellhound blade features a DLC finish. Like each of the special Signature Series models, the pocket clip has the Marfione signature, the "birth date" of the knife, and the S/N. On this model, these are deep engraved and the clip has an all black finish.
The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The literal translation in Greek is "wounding tooth" which represents the sharp and serrated nature of the Troodon's dental structure. The Combat Troodon is 25% larger than the tradition Troodon model but still manages to boast a sleek slender contoured handle that is ergonomic as it is functional. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability.
