The Ontario RAT Model 1A is a spectacularly smooth opening assist knife that uses their Tactical Assisted Opening (T.A.O.) system. Built for comfortable, heavy use, the knife boasts an index groove for your finger and jimping on the blade to give your hand a secure grip. The blade opens fast with a push on the thumb stud. This model, the 8870, features a satin finished drop point blade with a standard edge. Textured black G10 scales. Comes with a 4 way reversible pocket clip and dual thumbstuds so it is fully ambidextrous.
