Ontario TAK 1 Fixed Blade Knife, Serrated Edge, Micarta Handle

The Ontario Tak 1 Fixed Fixed Blade, model 8603, features a serrated edge blade of 1095 carbon steel blade with a black powder coat. The TAK knives are designed with a solid micarta handle with curves in all the right places. At the base of the full tang, there is a small cutout in the micarta and a lanyard hole in the tang. This rounded end can also be used as a glass breaker if the need arises. Built durable and tough, the TAK knife is ready for action--it will endure the heavy demands of a combat zone or a serious outdoor survival trip. The TAK 1 comes ready for use right out of the box. It also comes with a black nylon sheath that has a hard insert to protect the blade.
