The Schrade Viper Side Assist 2 Knife, model SA2TB, features a fast opening black tactical tanto blade. This 2nd Generation knife opens by releasing the slide safety and then pressing on the blade through the generous sized hole in the handle. By pressing on the side of the blade, you begin the spring assist process and the blade snaps the rest of the way open. The extra wide handle has tons of texturing for a solid grip. Slide safety on the spine of the handle shows a red dot when the blade is ready to be opened. The Viper comes with a extra wide tip up pocket clip that is removable. Get fast--get the Viper!
