The Shun Cutlery Classic Chef's Knife with an 8 in. blade is the classic, all-purpose blade ideal for every cutting task. It serves to prepare fruits, vegetables, proteins, and everything else. The wide blade helps keep your knuckles off the board and is handy for transferring your freshly cut food from the board to the pan.
With a curved belly, the Chef's knife allows you to gently "rock" through herbs and spices, producing a very fine mince. The Shun Classic's thinner blades make it lighter and less tiring than comparable European-style Chef's knives.
