The Spyderco EuroEdge folder knife is one of many new folders released by Spyderco this year. Designed by Ed Schempp, the EuroEdge highlights three machined fullers (longitudinal grooves) that were predominantly found on many European swords and daggers to help reduce the overall weight. This model features a nearly symmetrical ground CPM-S30V blade which showcases a pronounced swedge. The EuroEdge utilizes Spyderco's Linerlock mechanism--a leaf-like spring split from the liner to wedge laterally against a ramped surface on the tang of the blade. This knife is part of Spyderco's Ethnic Series which was developed to recognize the world's many distinctive cultural knives and blade styles--offering modernized versions while still staying true to the unique historical aspect. This model, the C215GP, features an elegantly contoured black G-10 handle, a single-edged satin finished spear point blade, stainless steel liners, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and a pocket clip designed for tip up carry only.
