The Shaman is a take on the popular USA-made Spyderco Native folder series--now sporting a longer blade and handle but still featuring a finger choil, finger groove and a prominent swedge for an array of grip options. Much like the acclaimed Paramilitary 2 and Para 3 models, each knife features Spyderco's patented Compression Lock mechanism--allowing users to safely close the blade with one hand without ever having the operating hand come near the cutting edge. This model, the C229GS, features a matte black G-10 handle, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a fully serrated (SpyderEdge) leaf shaped blade in a stonewash finish, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and the fully ambidextrous pocket clip is designed for tip up or tip down carry on either side of the handle.
