The Native 5 models also feature a highly refined back lock mechanism that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center which represents the pinnacle of strength and ease of operation. The added finger choil with jimping both there are on the spine of the blade provide an opportunity for precision cutting and the enlarged torx screws allow for user-friendly maintenance with easy adjustments. This lightweight model features black FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle scales, a leaf-shaped style blade in a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black finish, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and a fully ambidextrous 4-way positional pocket clip which allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
