This new exclusive Spyderco Embassy auto knife is a unique expression of what has become Spyderco's most dynamic and acclaimed model since its inception in 2008. Textured black G-10 inlays on both sides complement its advanced ergonomics while its recessed firing button is backed up with an integrated slide-safety. The flat saber-ground blade has been boosted to an advanced alloy to help elevate the blade's toughness without any loss of wear resistance and its stonewash finish helps preserve its original look over time. This limited model features a black anodized aircraft-grade aluminum frame complete with black G-10 inlays, all-black hardware, a sheepsfoot style blade in a stonewash finish and the reversible 3-way pocket clip is designed for tip up carry on either side of the handle or a tip down only carry option on the traditional side of the handle. Made in the USA.

    This is a hot knife and an excellent example of the craftsmanship that Spyderco offers. The fit and finish is nearly perfect. Some light tooling marks around the deployment button that I would like to see corrected but everything else is very very good. The attention to detail is evident. The G10 inlay is perfect and the safety slide has a really secure and grippy design. I generally like sheepsfoot blades, but i felt it was an odd choice for this knife. With an auto I think it would better to reduce moment of inertia by using a thinner point (less mass at blade tip). That said its still plenty fast.

    After searching for this knife BladeOps took over and delivered a blast from the past. With upgraded steel!! I mean it’s what every Spyderco knife knut could dream of when they thought auto spydie. Excellent blade shape, fast deployment, strong lock up. Just get one while ya can.
