The Spyderco JaniSong is a Michael Janich design.
Redefining the classic balisong into a practical cutting too, the JaniSong features a patented mechanism with an outer handle, an inner handle, and a CPM S30V Spear Point blade. All three are joined by the pivot.
The inner handle rotates 360 degrees to deploy the blade and a slide latch allows you to lock the blade open or closed.
This makes the knife easy to open rapidly and the 4 position clip allows for convenient carry.
