Such a great idea to put an Emerson opener on a PM2. The different blade shape is super cool, and the edge is SCARY sharp. Awesome knife!

Just about the perfect knife. Spyderco took the best EDC knife of all time and made it better.

As a long time carrier, and fan, of the Spyderco Endura Emerson, I was somewhat apprehensive that the Paramilitary Emerson would be as good or better. It is better. While it is slightly heavier, and it is a bit grippier on the pocket fabric when deploying, the paramilitary has several advantages over the Endura. First, the ease of opening, without using the Emerson hook, is a clear advantage the Paramilitary has over the Endura. The Paramilitary also has a functional choil for gripping and feels more ergonomic in hand. Finally, I have never fully trusted the spine lock on the Endura, as I occasionally use my knives to torque and pry things. While I still love the Endura, the Paramilitary is the better knife all around.

I've owned many PM2s over the years. This one is my favorite. The wave feature works well. The thicker tip can handle rough jobs.
