The Spyderco Schempp Rock is a purpose designed camp knife by Ed Schempp. The highly evolved ergonomics, the exceptional edge geometry, combined with the light weight of the knife make for an amazingly comfortable and easy to use knife. An evolution of the earlier Rock Salt, this knife features H1 rust-proof steel blade that gives it cutting performance, toughness and corrosion resistance at an affordable price. The flat ground blade tapers uniformly from the spine to the cutting edge that gives it a superior balance of strength, mass, and the acute angle that makes it cut like a charm. The dropped handle design allows you to maintain a more strong and natural wrist angle that gives you more control, reduces fatigue and transfers more of the chopping motion energy into the cut. The full tang construction features orange injection molded FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) scales that give you a secure, comfortable grip.
