Bear & Son Double Clutch IV Black Aluminum OTF Knife, Satin Clip Point Blade

Very happy with my purchase. The action on this knife is excellent, very snappy. Fit and finish are excellent as well. D2 blade certainly isn’t considered a “super steel” but it’s no slouch either. It’s a burly knife and the ergonomics are great. But what I’m really impressed by is the minimal blade play for an OTF. I’ve handled several other brands in the same or higher price range and this one has far tighter tolerances. In fact, I don’t think it could be any tighter and still function reliably. I did tweak the pocket clip so it would slide in and out of my jeans a little easier. No rattles in any position. One thing to note is that OTF knives like this one are very sensitive to excessive lubrication or oils that are too heavy/sticky. I use dry lube and touch of grease on the slide switch and pin that holds the blade. I highly recommend this knife, in fact I bought the tanto blade version as well and am just as satisfied.
