This Benchmade Gold Class is actually categorized as a Benchmade International Gold Class because it was initially released to non-domestic Benchmade dealers, but thankfully, made its way back to the states. This beautiful and artistic rendition of the popular Benchmade 51 Morpho balisong butterfly production model features a hand-crowned acid-etched damascus blade showcasing a Chad Nichols Ripple pattern coupled with a hand polished cutting edge. The contoured blended 6AL-4V titanium handles include Chad Nichols Ripple pattern damascus inlays on both sides of each handle as well as the backspacer--further highlighted by the hand-polished bright hardware as well as the custom anodized handle pockets. The 51-161 also comes with a custom hand-made black leather sheath with incorporated belt carry option and, please note, due to the nature of this knife, it does not come with any type of closure system or T-latch. This is just a limited run of 100 units and comes standard with a black presentation box as well as a certificate of authenticity. Made in the USA.
